LIVE. FERMENTED. ORGANIC.

There must be something in the water...

We don’t take this statement lightly when it comes to what we drink. Way before we began this crazy, fermenting business together we took the time to put a lot of care and research into the ingredients we used. Our main and only customers at the time were our own families, so attention to every detail was a priority. Organic produce was a must, high quality raw honey and of course spring water over tap.

It’s not much of a surprise that most of us don’t drink enough water. When I ask clients and customers about their daily water consumption, the average person comes back with the response “not nearly enough”. As a result, most of us are chronically dehydrated. Water is used for many functions in the body, some of which include:

  • Protects tissues and organs
  • Lubricates joints
  • Carries nutrients and oxygen to cells
  • Moistens tissues
  • Helps to prevent constipation
  • Assists in dissolving nutrients
  • Regulates body temp
  • Helps to flush waste products

Unfortunately, there are harmful contaminants in our tap water, so filtered, reverse osmosis or spring water is best. Some of those contaminants include:

  • Chlorine
  • Fluoride
  • Pesticide residue
  • Medication
  • Hormones
  • Bacteria
  • Lead
  • Copper

We are often asked the question “Why should I buy your products?” and every time we are more than happy to answer that question with a list of reasons, why. One of those reasons include the water we choose to use.

We are always happy to take a trip to our local spring and use only pure spring water for every batch of our Jun. A probiotic rich drink made with organic, local ingredients and the cleanest water we can get our hands on.

So, the next time you are feeling particularly good or bad, take a moment to think about how much water you have had to drink lately and of course, the source.
